On the evening of September 29th, Sichuan Institute of Industrial Technology (SCIT) held a grand choir competition named "Youthful Heart Towards the Party, Singing Patriotic Songs Together" to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China in the auditorium of District C on Yanjiang Campus.

Twelve participating teams composed of teachers and students from various secondary colleges, as well as two performance teams from college student art groups participated in the competition. The atmosphere on site was enthusiastic, and the competing teams were full of energy. They passionately performed classic songs such as "Me and My Motherland", "I Love You China", "The Country", "The Motherland Will Never Forget" and "Defending the Yellow River." Every note was a powerful pulse of the country's development, and every lyric carried the firm belief of teachers and students at SCIT to share the same breath and destiny with our motherland.

After an intense competition, the College of Education won the first prize in the group competition. The College of Sports and Health and the College of Economics and Management won the second prize in the group competition. The College of Intelligent Manufacturing and Vehicle Engineering, the College of Electronic Information and Computer Engineering, and the College of Architecture won the third prize in the group competition. The Star Chorus from the College of Education won the first prize in the individual competition.

All the teachers and students presented birthday wishes to our motherland through singing, expressing their wonderful expectations for the prosperity and well-being of our country and the happiness and health of the people. SCIT will adhere to the principles of cultural and aesthetic education, deepen the reform of aesthetic education and teaching, construct a comprehensive aesthetic education framework, and focus on enhancing students' aesthetic and humanistic quality.
