Recently, it has been announced by the organization committee of the Lanqiao Cup National Software and Information Technology Professional Talent Competition that Sichuan Institute of Industrial Technology（SCIT） has been awarded the "Outstanding Organizational Unit Award" in the Sichuan regional division of the 15th Lanqiao Cup National Software and Information Technology Professional Talent Competition.

This year's individual competition of Lanqiao Cup Competition saw participation from over 1900 schools, among which 1102 are undergraduate institutions, accounting for 88%. This competition has become the leading IT discipline competition in China in terms of scale.

SCIT, as one of the organizing universities for the competition, has placed great emphasis on the organization of this event. It was coordinated by the College of Intelligent Manufacturing and Vehicle Engineering, with the support from the Intelligent Car Innovation Laboratory for the relevant preparation of the competition. In recent years, SCIT has highly valued the improvement of professional training quality. Besides, it also actively organized and prepared for relevant activities. Specialized teachers are encouraged and supported to guide extracurricular scientific and technological activities and to lead teams to participate in various discipline competitions. This is also praised by the competition organizing committee.
