Recently, the winner list of the 7th “Youlu Cup" National BIM Technology Competition in 2024, sponsored by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, was released, and the participating projects “Zhuyin · Mu Yun” and “Sunflower” of the College of Civil Engineering won the Bronze Award and the Excellence Award respectively.

The competition is composed of two groups: enterprise group and college group, among which the enterprise group sets up two categories: industrial and civil construction and public infrastructure, and the competition topic for the college group is separately proposed by the expert committee. The expert committee of the competition classifies and evaluates the participating projects based on the scoring rules in accordance with the principles of openness, fairness and justice, aiming to strengthen the cooperation between schools and enterprises in the engineering field, so as to promote the development of the entire BIM technology industry.

In the next step, SCIT will continue to adhere to the teaching concept of “promoting learning through competition and promoting teaching through competition”, actively encourage teachers and students to participate in various professional competitions at all levels, further promote school-enterprise cooperation, cultivate students’ practical operation ability and social adaptability, and continuously cultivate high-quality applied talents for enterprises.
