Recently, the 14th National College Students' E-Commerce "Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship" Challenge, hosted by the Ministry of Education's E-Commerce Education Guidance Committee, held its Sichuan regional final at Neijiang Normal University. More than 200 teams from Sichuan province participated. Eight student teams from Sichuan Institute of Industrial Technology（SCIT） have won provincial awards, including two first prizes, two second prizes, and four third prizes.

The National College Student E-commerce "Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship" Challenge (referred to as the "Three Innovations Competition") is a nationwide academic competition for college students organized by the Teaching Guidance Committee for E-commerce Majors of the Ministry of Education starting from 2009. Guided by the spirit of the document issued by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance (Document of Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education [2010] No.13), the Three Innovations Competition is a competition that stimulates the interest and potential of college students, cultivates their innovative consciousness, creative thinking, entrepreneurial ability, and team collaboration spirit. It ranked third in "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" of the 2023 national college student discipline competition. For many years, after the national finals, CCTV has provided news coverage.

The projects proposed by the school students in this competition were brilliant, which fully demonstrated students' innovative and entrepreneurial quality and ability. Under the guidance of Yang Chun and Hu Liang（teachers）, the team led by Li Tanbin, who majored in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering in Grade 2022, proposed the rotary height limit device for the first time in the project"life first -intelligent safety height limit bar", which protects the life safety of drivers. It also adopts advanced technologies such as intelligent identification and big data analysis, building an intelligent safety height limit bar with fast lifting, strong safety and low cost. Under the guidance of Huang Chun and Long Yangchi（teachers）, the team led by Long Xinyu, who majored in Financial Engineering in Grade 2022, designed an anti-drowning system integrating Internet of things, big data and mobile data to guarantee life safety and property safety. The project is called "Application System of Internet of Things of Drowning Safety Warning ".
